The most interesting and possibly most accurate poll I’ve ever seen was released today on the ABC News website. The headline, which caught me totally by surprise, appears below:
‘Primetime Live’ Poll: More Republicans Satisfied With Sex Lives Than Democrats

Here we are…just about two weeks away from Election Day. We’ve been treated to a lot of information since the last Presidential Debate telling us how both candidates are in a dead heat. Since Friday afternoon, however, the polling data has been just a little more interesting.

Believe me when I tell you that it is no small coincidence that the Vice Presidential debate was held in the state of Ohio. To many across this nation, Ohio has become the true heartland of this nation. This is also true in the political sense since no Republican has ever won the Presidency without first winning the Buckeye State. It may be a cliché at this point, but the statement is 100% true.

Well, here we are. Thirty five days from Election Day. Five weeks from tonight, I’ll probably be sitting where I am now blogging about the returns as states close their precincts. Before this point, I didn’t care too much about the polling data. It was all pretty worthless before because we were too far away from November.
