Listen up, Liberals. I can make this really simple for you. You won’t have to spend lots of money trying to figure it out. I’m about to tell you why John Kerry lost, so pay attention…

Divide This…
So, George W. Bush has won re-election over challenger John Kerry. Although there wasn’t a resolution until the next day, it was certainly faster than what took place four years ago. There were no lawsuits. There were no endless recounts. There was no six-week waiting period for a concession.

Somewhere Between Appeasement and Independence…
This long and seemingly interminable campaign season culminates today when Americans go to the polls to cast votes for the candidates of their choice. Practically every election has been described as the “most important of our time,” but this quadrennial exercise seems to fit that description even more this time.

Once, Twice, Three Times a Circus…
So…did you see the third debate between John Kerry and George W. Bush on Wednesday night? I’m hoping you did. It was by far the best of the three and probably the most tell-tale about both men. I mean, forget the spin. Ignore the sound bites. Discount the commentary from the talking heads of television news. All you needed to see to get an accurate picture of these two men was to see the reply to one question.

Two Down, One to Go…
Return with me now to those days gone by. It is 1992 and the place is Little Rock, Arkansas. It is the first Tuesday in November–Election Day–and the very last daily meeting of the Clinton campaign staff is being led by George Stephanopoulos, James Carville and Paul Begala.

New Cars That Run on Beer…
It occurred to me this week that this is pretty much what John Kerry is doing: he’s promising new cars that run on beer. Well, OK…perhaps not in a literal sense. However, since Carville and Begala became “unpaid advisers” to the Kerry campaign, it seems like he’s left Vietnam behind and is attempting to go toe-to-toe with George Bush on Iraq and the War on Terror. The problem is, John Kerry doesn’t have the record or the credentials to wage this fight.
