I spent some time this evening revising my electoral vote map. This is a work in progress that I’ll lock in on the evening of November 3rd–the night before the general election.
As of right now, here’s where I stand:
For “battleground” or “swing” states right now, I’m liking the following:
- Arkansas
- New Hampshire (my state)
- New Mexico
- North Carolina
- West Virginia
That’s five states for a total of 35 electoral votes. With the election being only five weeks from today, there may be states added or dropped from this list. The ones in bold are the ones that I think will remain too close to call prior to election day. (Again, I caveat that with “right now, at this moment.”)
