So, I’m driving down the road minding my own business and listening to my XM Satellite Radio and this song comes on. It used to scare the hell out of me when I was a kid. After listening to it, it left me with a question. That said…
Know what I don’t get?
Why did the lights go out in Georgia if they hung an innocent man?
I mean, did they hang him from an electrical transformer? Is THAT why the lights went out or do they just not know how to hang people in the great state of Georgia?
These are the questions that occupy my mind at times. Well, at least, when I listen to my radio, anyway. (The 70′s on 7, in case any of you were wondering. How else would I hear a Vicki Lawrence song?)
If somebody else has a better explanation, please let me know…
