The Minuteman III dummy warheads were fired at 3:14 a.m. and traveled about 4,200 miles before hitting a water target in the Marshall Islands.

The Marshall Islands. A target that’s well within notice of North Korea and Yoko Ono’s twin. This test wasn’t to test the readiness of the United States’ missile defense system. This test was to show North Korea one thing and one thing only: that our missiles hit their targets exactly where we want them to. That’s something that Pyongyang has yet to have happen.
The message has been sent and undoubtedly received loud and clear, of that you can be sure. It’s a small flex of muscle meant to demonstrate that we’re not just a super power in name only. It’s not an overt show of force—it’s a reminder.
The only question now is if that little nutjob Kim Jong Il is smart enough to understand what it means.
