Karl Rove Cleared by Special Counsel…

One thing is for sure, the Libs will be beside themselves and hating the world today.

STATEMENT OF ROBERT LUSKIN, ATTORNEY FOR KARL ROVE

Washington, DC – Robert Luskin, Attorney for Karl Rove today released the following statement:
“On June 12, 2006, Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald formally advised us that he does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove.
“In deference to the pending case, we will not make any further public statements about the subject matter of the investigation. We believe that the Special Counsel’s decision should put an end to the baseless speculation about Mr. Rove’s conduct.”

The Libs have been hoping to see Karl Rove do the “perp walk” for so long now that this will be a huge let down. Instead of accepting the decision of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, they will likely turn on him and allege misconduct or maybe even that the Bush Administration threatened him….or worse, paid him off.
It will all be an inability to deal with the facts as they are: Karl Rove has now officially not done anything wrong—and that’s just going to eat at them for a long, long time.
