Hey, guess what? Like I said before, 10,000 books sold is NOT a lot of books! What do I base this claim on? Well, let’s look at the scanned sales of Anderson Cooper’s and Tim Russert’s new books:
mediabistro.com – TVNEWSER: Cooper Sells A Lot Of Books
Quoting:
Maybe it’s time to lay off Anderson Cooper a little bit. His new book, “Dispatches From The Edge,” is a top seller. According to Drudge, Cooper’s book has earned a #1 spot on BookScan, with 37,639 copies scanned in its first week. He beat Tim Russert by 94 copies.
Russert is #2 and Cooper is #3 on the New York Times’ latest bestseller list.
So, the liberal who said I clearly didn’t know what I as talking about, obviously has never heard of a hardcover book selling 37,600 units in the very first week if they think 10,000 in three weeks is “extraordinary.”
This just in…10,000…still not a lot of books…and I’m still right. Still.
I just wish I’d used more exclamation points to really annoy that guy.
