Poll: McCain, Voldemort Lead in NH…

Here we are, just about a full two years away from New Hampshire’s “First in the Nation” Primary and the first real poll of the season has come out.
The American Research Group based right here in lovely Manchester, New Hampshire—mere moments from Casa del ConBlog—surveyed 600 likely voters in each of the party primaries. Starting with the Democrats, it looks as though Voldemort, the Junior Senator from the State of New York, leads seven different states where she is in close contention with…anyone……anyone…UNDECIDED!! In fact, in my native Granite State, that bastard Undecided leads Voldy by a mere point:

On the Republican side, Johnny Mac is leading his rivals and he’s also in a pretty competitive race with Undecided. You’ll notice though, that it’s not as close in most of those same seven states, however:

So, let’s pit them at each other, shall we? Mano y…uh…Wo-Mano? Head-to-head, Johnny Mac versus Voldemort. Yep…I got your Goblet of Fire right here, Voldy:

TWENTY points. Now, granted, the primary is not a contest between the two parties, but it is an interesting barometer. John McCain did beat George W. Bush by 19 points in New Hampshire, and that didn’t get him anywhere near the party’s nomination. New Hampshirites LOVE John McCain and it’s no shock that’s he’s light years ahead of Mitt Romney.
The only thing it proves is that New Hampshire will definitely be more interesting than ever.
