DNC, Day 4: All Skate, Change Directions…

So, let me see if I can get this straight and save us all a lot of trouble. Tuesday night, Barack Obama says there aren’t two Americas, there is only one. The very next day, John Edwards still maintains that there’s not just one America, there are really two. I have no idea how many Americas John Kerry thinks there are, but you’d think he could talk to his guys to get this straightened out, don’t you?

DNC, Day 3: Man, This is Painful…

I so wish I’d been on the floor of the FleetCenter last night for Teresa Heinz-Kerry’s speech.
In fact, I think I’m just going to call her Terry Kerry from here on in, just because it rhymes and it makes me chuckle a little.

DNC, Day 1: I Love That Dirty Kool Aid…

Ah…Boston! Well, I’m not there, exactly, but I go enough to know I enjoy the city. I tried to get credentials for this week so I could work the floor, but I’m not exactly shocked that I’m sitting at home watching this thing on C-Span.
I suppose the best way to sum up Boston and how intensely Democrat that town is, is like this:

Dude, Where’s My Sock?

Former Clinton National Security Adviser Sandy Berger is under criminal investigation for having taken highly classified federal documents on terrorism that should have been handed over to the 9/11 Commission.
Berger’s residence was searched for the sensitive documents by the Justice Department after he’d been reviewing them at the National Archives. He had been asked by former President Clinton to review the documents prior to turning them over to the Commission.
The former National Security Adviser took top-secret documents, as well as handwritten notes, and stuffed them in his jacket, his pants, and his socks.

Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda…

Did anyone catch CNN’s Larry King Live this past Thursday?
Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, the eventual nominee for President of the United States by the Democrat Party, was asked if he had received a real-time briefing on national security and the current terror threat. Earlier in that same day, Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge warned the nation that al Qaeda was planning major terror attacks on U.S. soil.
