The Junior Senator from the State of New York is looking to take even more hard-earned dollars from more Americans. She and her fat ass were in San Francisco attending a fund-raiser for fellow Sena-trix Barbara Boxer (D-CA).
You know, I really am tired of seeing these two charlatans. Wasn’t eight years of them more than enough?
Bill and Hillary Clinton took the San Francisco bay area by storm this week: he on the latest stop of his book tour, and she at a fund raising luncheon for the re-election bid of Barbara Boxer. Both, however, took the opportunity to make sensationalistic and negative claims about Republicans.
Speaking at what was presumably an “all you can eat” to guarantee her attendance, Sen. Clinton sounded near Socialistic when talking about repealing tax cuts.
“Many of you are well enough off that … the tax cuts may have helped you,” Clinton said. “We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”
On behalf of the common good?!?! What is she, nuts?? The common good of whom? Who is she to decide what’s good for the people and, more importantly, who is she to sit in judgment of anyone? The best part is that her audience at this luncheon was a bunch of Democrats who paid $10,000.00 a head to hear her spout this drivel. She’s all but telling these people that she’s going to take more money from them at the point of a figurative gun, and they’ve “drunk the Kool-Aid,” as it were.
Here’s a question for the common good, Senator. Just whose money is this that your playing with? It’s not the Government’s, so whose must it be? That’s right. Mine. Yours. Everybody’s. This is the money of hard working American taxpayers, and this insanely rich woman with delusions of grandeur is planning on taking more of it away.
She wasn’t the only one. Her husband, the former Philanderer-in-Chief, was in town the same day, but took up the cause the day before in Las Vegas. Speaking at a fund raiser at the Rio Hotel in Sin City, the former President took an opportunity to lambaste the Bush Administration as well.
“I believe that this is a very important election. You’ve got to understand that the new Republicans are way to the right of anybody you’ve ever had running this country before.”
Way to the right? I had no idea that there was anything new about the Republican message or platform. Oh, that’s right…there isn’t. It’s been a consistently positive message about self-reliance, smaller Government, and lower taxes. Well, he got the last part right at least…
Clinton also said that Republicans “never saw a tax cut they didn’t like.” At least he was paying attention for that part. His spin was less than accurate, though.
“They basically don’t care what happens to all these poor people because they think the only thing that really matters is to concentrate as much power and wealth in the hands of the good guys as possible, people who share their values,” he said. What the former President fails to mention is that it wasn’t just the rich that got a tax cut.
Millions of Americans, many of whom are working families, received real tax relief–and most of them are not rich. Most of the people receiving the Bush tax cut couldn’t afford to get into these big ticket luncheons to hear flaming liberals spew forth rubbish…nor would they want to.
They will continue to lie and malign to distract from their own record of failing to protect the low income earners and the middle class. Consider the first order of business of the Clinton Administration in 1993: an income tax hike on Social Security recipients. Senior Citizens living on a fixed income and relying on Social Security as their only income source.
Republicans employ tax cuts because they work every time they’ve been tried. In the history of this nation, tax cuts have always helped foster economic growth. Putting money in the hands of working families is never bad economics. The money is theirs to begin with.
The Clintons wouldn’t have you believe that, though. They’ll lie, cheat and apparently steal to raise money and win the Senate and the Presidency back. They’ll have to, because the presumptive nominee can’t win it on his own.
